    Filmography of Summer Altice

Becoming a Playboy Playmate opens a lot of doors, and this is true for Summer as well.

Summer appeared on the Howard Stern show twice in October of 2000 and three times in September of 2002. And, we all know Howard, he wants to find out the dirty, sexy secrets of any of his gorgeous guests. Summer Altice would not disappoint. On the September 18th show, Summer openly discusses her bisexual experiences, and much to Howard’s delight, she described an experience where she was on the receiving end of a strap-on worn by a fellow model!!

So, not only is Summer Altice an athlete extraordinaire, intelligent, drop dead gorgeous with a killer body, but she’s also sexually exhilarating!!

And Summer Altice has no problem flaunting her sexuality, being featured in Playboy’s California Girls (2000), Wet & Wild: Slippery When Wet (2000), Playboy’s Video Playmate Calendar 2002, and Playboy's No Boys Allowed 2 (2004). And, of course, we think she’s the highlight in all these videos.

Summer Altice parlays her modeling success and Playboy exposure into an acting career, taking parts in the movies Learning to Surf (2000) and Pretty Cool (2001). Summer plays "Kitty" in the well-received independent film, Learning to Surf in 2000. Learning to Surf received the "Best Achievement in Directing" Award from IndieVision Fest 02, and IndieVision Magazine quotes, "Learning to Surf is one of the most refreshing independent films currently making the festival rounds."

But Summer's major movie breakthrough would be through the role of Kai, in the blockbuster Hollywood prequel The Scorpion King, with fellow beauty Kelly Hu, Michael Clarke Duncan, and WWF star, The Rock.

Summer Altice plays Kai, an Amazonian warrior woman who fights alongside Mathayus (The Rock) to overthrow the evil Memnon.

When interviewed by Playboy about the experience, Summer Altice describes “The Rock” – “He's a big teddy bear. A big sweetheart. There was one incident when Michael Clarke Duncan and The Rock were doing their fight scene. They had rehearsed and rehearsed and rehearsed it. Well, Michael was a little tired that day and didn't remember to duck and The Rock elbowed him right in the mouth and knocked him out. A week earlier, one of the stunt guys had gotten accidentally grazed by The Rock's hand, and The Rock got him a Rolex because he felt so bad. He's such a good guy. The next day, Michael was like, "Where's my watch?"

After this success, it’s clear that we’ll be seeing more of Summer Altice on the big screen. At the move premiere of The Scorpion King, when asked if there would be a focus on acting now, Altise responded, “Yes, yes. I think that being able to show yourself but also show that there's something behind that, to me I think is so much more gratifying and so much more rewarding than just being able to look at a picture. “

And about becoming the next female action movie star, Summer altice digs the idea – “That's my dream job right there, like Jennifer Garner in Alias. There's only so many women that have natural God-given abilities to be athletic. I was an athlete for 11 years and I'm tall. It's getting a little harder in Hollywood to be tall as a female actor because you have to have tall male actors. But now there's The Rock and Michael and Tyler Mane is 6'6" and you've got Vin at 6'4". So they're getting up there. The guys are growing finally.”

And then came Showtime’s series, ChromiumBlue.com, brought to you by Zalman King. Now, I know that name sounds familiar, that’s the same guy that produced Red Shoe Diaries (Remember the hot, topless girls from that steamy show?!) and 9 ½ Weeks!! (Kim Basinger!) Well, he’s at it again, and this time, with our own Summer Altice as one of the stars! According to Altise, “…it's like Fantasy Island meets Sex in the City on a boat. I'm the series star. I play the limo driver. I pick you up from the airport and then we sail to all these different exotic points. It's an adventure series, so something goes wrong every episode.”

Summer Altise plays Maria, the limo driver, whose character can be described as Ass kickin’, Hard drinkin’, Vampire Lovin’, Party Girl, Outcast, and Available...but completely unobtainable! ChromiumBlue.com airs Friday nights on Showtime Beyond.

Altise’s next project was the movie, The Grind (2003), where she plays the character Winona. Even though Grind is a movie about skateboarding guys, it is fueled by women. Jennifer Morrison plays Jamie, the pro skater who ultimately helps the boys. Playboy Playmate of the Year, Dalene Kurtis, plays one of the babes on the sidelines. Summer Altice has a pivotal, though mostly silent, role as Winona, Sweet Lou (Joey Kern)'s love interest who steels the van (and the spotlight!). Actually, Summer Altise’s role is a silent one, but she burns up the screen anyway!

Other notable mentions include The Young and the Restless, Politically Incorrect, and Something Corporate's music video, If You C Jordan.
